Supersub Panel System

SuperSIP™ Panel Benefits

Factory-built SIP panels designed for faster construction, stronger envelopes, and predictable performance in New Zealand conditions.

Performance Snapshot

30 - 60%

Faster Structural Assembly

Faster on-site builds with ready-to-install prefabricated panels.
10 - 20%

Lower Total Build Cost

Lower overall costs compared to conventional framing.
2.0 - 5.0x

Improved Airtightness

Continuous panels reduce air leakage when properly detailed.
50 - 70%

Less Construction Waste

Factory-controlled manufacturing cuts material waste & recyclable

Important Performance Notes +

Performance outcomes depend on building design, detailing, climate zone, penetrations, and construction quality.
Figures shown represent indicative ranges from SIP industry studies and completed projects, not guaranteed outcomes.
Final performance should be verified through project-specific design documentation, testing, and compliance processes.

Conventional vs SIP Panels

Conventional builds assemble structure, insulation, and air control separately on site. SIP panels combine these functions into a single system, improving build repeatability and envelope continuity.

Conventional Timber

Thermal bridging at studs
Multiple air leakage paths
More site labour steps

Why SIP Panels Are Well Suited to New Zealand Buildings +

Climate & comfort, helps manage heat loss in cooler regions and overheating risk in warmer zones.
Wind & seismic performance, stressed-skin panels provide stiffness and racking resistance when engineered.
Labour constraints, reduces reliance on skilled on-site labour and shortens build programmes.
Energy efficiency expectations, supports higher-performing building envelopes as regulations evolve.
Remote & regional builds, factory precision improves build quality where site access and labour are limited.
